Mazda has announced that the worldwide production of their new generation of cars, which adopts the SKYACTIV technology and the KODO design language, surpassed 3 million units. More specifically, from November 2011 until the same month of 2015 they built nearly 3,050,000 cars.

Currently, the range of the Japanese company consists of 6 cars among which the third generation of the Mazda6 and the fourth generation of the MX-5 and CX-3. The newly-presented CX-9, will be released in the spring of 2016. Mazda estimates that 80% of their annual sales of cars, will end up in the US market.
