Nissan introduced in Chicago the American version of the Juke Nismo. Nissan has presented the Juke Nismo in Europe at the Paris exhibition in September 2012.
It is now equipped with a 1,6 liter DOHC turbo engine with 200 hp and 250 Nm of torque. It will be available in four-wheel drive and rear wheel drive with the completition of 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds (8.2 in the four-wheel drive version) and has a top speed of 215 km/h (200 km/h, inthe four-wheel drive version). The rear wheel drive version is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission while the four-wheel drive version with an Xtronic CVT transmission with manual mode.
It has a lower and stiffer suspension and stands on a multi-pointed 18 inch alloy wheels and wider Continental tires(compared to the original version of the Juke). Stylistically it is equipped with an aerodynamic bodykit that improves the vertical downforce by 37%, consists of a redesigned front bumper and grille, wider fenders, side skirts, a new roof spoiler, LED daytime running lights, red mirrors and finally a new rear bumper with twin chrome tailpipes.
