Aston Martin stressed that the GT8 and GT12 versions of the Vantage, showed that its customers want such versions, so they decided to create the new sub brand. The “simple” AMR will be developed by engineers of the central group of production, while the AMR Pro models that will focus on reduced weight will be built by the Q section of the company.

The Vantage AMR Pro is equipped with the V8 GT4 racing engine of Aston Martin Racing, that produces 500 hp. It stands on 19-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires. The car features a new front bumper, a new grille, an aggressive splitter, wide fenders and a new rear diffuser. Its interior has plenty of carbon, a roll cage and Alcantara upholstery. Just 7 units of the Vantage AMR Pro will go into production.

The Rapide AMR is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 600 hp, with its top speed reaching 337 km/h. The car has 21-inch rims, quad exhaust tailpipes, a new grille, a front splitter, new side skirts, a spoiler and a diffuser. Its interior features carbon seats, carbon decorations and an Alcantara upholstery. The production of the Rapide AMR will be limited to 210 units.
