Chevrolet presented the 1LE package for the new Camaro ZL1. This package makes the car lighter and gives it a more aggressive look. The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE is equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 650 hp with 882 Nm of torque.
The package adds a huge carbon rear spoiler, a front splitter and new side skirts. The chassis is upgraded and the car now has new Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve Multimatic dampers, with the front being adjustable. The car has lighter alloy wheels dressed with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires.
The ZL1 1LE weighs 27 kilos less than the ZL1, with Chevrolet to indicate that the car is up to 3 seconds faster than the ZL1 on the Milford Road Course test track.
