Ford halts the production of the F-150

The F-150, while being at the top of sales for the second quarter of 2016, has had a drop of 3% in sales. This resulted in Ford halting its production factory for a week, followed by other 3 factories in the coming days.

Sales, in fact, are so low that dealers say that the cars has to spend at least 95 days on the dealerships before they are sold.

The company will also halt the production of the Ford Escape, the Fusion and the Lincoln MKC. The Fusion is the third best selling Ford, but it has had a decrease in sales by 17.5%.

The workers that will be halted from factories in the US and have worked for at least 1 year at the factories, will receive 80% of their salary and unemployment benefits.
