McLaren gave the first teaser sketch of P1 GTR. The P1 GTR will be a racing car for exclusive use inside the track, like the Ferrari 599CHCH/FXX and the Pagani Zonda R.

The model will be released in 2015 and for owning it you should already have in your possession the P1, with McLaren saying that the P1 GTR will be the strongest and the rarest car they have ever built.

The car will produce about 1,000 hp and it will be wearing slick tires, large rear spoiler, front splitter, with the body kit to produce large amounts of vertical wind pressure. Each car will cost £1.98 million pounds with McLaren having not decided yet how many cars will be produced. The only certainty is that it will be strictly limited and its production will start after the end of the production of the P1.
The owners of the McLaren P1 GTR will have access to the racing simulators of McLaren and will take part in at least six international events, with McLaren taking care of the transfer of the car to the tracks of the world, just as the Ferrari Corse Clienti program does for the owners of the FXX models.
