Ferrari wants to reduce CO2 emissions by 20% bu 2021 and to achieve this it will use hybrid technology to its V12 engines, while all future V8 models will wear turbo V8 engines.

Vittorio Dini, Head of the Department of engines of Ferrari, said today that the average emissions of Ferrari cars are 270 grams, much less than the 435 g/km in 2007. Nevertheless, Ferrari wants to cut of CO2 emissions by 3% each year, so in 2021, Ferrari models will emit 20% ​​less CO2 than today.

In the future, all our V8 models will use turbo.

Regarding the V12 models, Ferrari will turn to hybrid solutions, as it did in the LaFerrari, which emits 330 g/km of CO2 while the Enzo produces 545 g/km of CO2.
