The T-800CDI looks like any other adventure model, but it is produced by the Dutch Track Diesel Motorcycles and it consumes only diesel.
This model is the only modern production model with a diesel engine and is a great alternative to petrol or electric models. The production has already started in the Netherlands, and some Dutch riders have already ordered their own, paying the sum of 19,500 euros.
The T-800CDI is equipped with a 800 cc engines, which produces 50 bhp at 3,000 rpm and 7.85 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm, with a maximum speed of 165 klm/Hour, while it has an impessive autonomy of 500 km with 15 liters of diesel.
According to Track Diesel Motorcycles, the success of the model was not as expected and, unfortunately, there are no funds to continue it’s production.
The directors of the company, however, do not intend to give up and they are already preparing a new model, which will be an electric tricycle.
