The Lotec Mercedes-Benz C1000 is a one-off supercar built in the mid-90s with the hope to become the fastest production car. The Lotec C1000 costed back in 1995 to it’s extremely rich owner the extraordinary amount of $3.5 million.
It is equipped with a Mercedes-Benz 5.6-litre V8, with two Garrett turbochargers producing 1,000 hp! The ‘C’ stands for carbon fibre wich is used extensively for the lightweight body. The car has a top speed of 268 MPH (431.3 km/h) and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.2 seconds !
The engine is combined with a Hewland six-speed transmission sending power to the rear wheels. It has red colored leather interior and bucket seats.
The auction will be available on October 31 in Charlotte, North Carolina by RKMCCA, with an estimated sale price of over $1,300,000.
