DeltaWing Technology Group and its CEO, Don Panoz revealed that they are developing a new, DeltaWing GT racing car.
The car will be revealed later in the year and the entire project aims to show that a two-seater sportscar based on the philosophy and architecture of the Deltawing can have the same performance with “many of today’s sports cars” but with “significantly less horsepower”.
The racing DeltaWing GT, is only the first step to launch a street-legal version of this very special car. The company actually revealed that according to an independent study, a four-seat car based on DeltaWing and driven by a 1.4 liter gasoline engine with 138 hp, will consume just 3.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
