The original Maserati Ghibli of the 60s was an exquisite grand tourer, which was also offered in a convertible version and not a luxury sedan ( as the current generation of the car).

The car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and it was produced in just 1,295 pieces, with only 125 of these being Spyder versions.
RM Sothebby’s will auction the first ever Ghibli Spyder at Pebble Beach and they expect it to be sold at a price between $1.2 and $1.8 million. The car is equipped with a 4.7 liter V8 engine that delivers 330 hp, while it can do the 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and its top speed reaches 270 km/h.
