The Maserati Boomerang concept prototype will be auctioned by Bonhams on September 5. The prototype was presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1971 as a non-functional model, but next year at the Geneva Motor Show Geneva the company presented a fully functional vehicle.
It is equipped with a 4.7 liter V8 engine producing 310 hp that sends the power to the rear wheels and it was combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
