According to the CEO of Hyundai North America, Dave Zuchowski, the company is working this period on a new small, entry-level compact crossover.
According to Zuchowski, Hyundai will not launch the Creta in the US, due to its conservative design and thus they decided to build a new small crossover that features all those design elements that a crossover should have, for the American market. The car will be more aggressive and it will be based on the front-wheel drive platform of the Veloster.
