Honda presented the US-Spec version of the new Civic. The Japanese company started almost from scratch on the design of the new Civic, which features LED daytime running lights and an imposing grille with a chrome strip. The car has also a strongly sloping ceiling, while at the back, there are LED lights.

The 2016 Honda Civic, will be available with two engines. A 2 liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine that produces close to 158 hp, coupled with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT and a 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder, producing 173 hp, combined solely with a CVT.
The interior of the car features better quality materials, automatic air conditioning, electronic parking brake, driver’s seat with adjustable support, automatic locking and a new infotainment system with a 7 inch touch screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The torsional rigidity of the car has been increased by 25% and despite the fact that the new Civic is bigger than its predecessor, its body shell is 30 kg lighter. The new model is 5 cm wider and it has a 3 cm longer wheelbase, but it is 2.5 centimeters lower.
The sales of the new Civic will begin this autumn and production of the model will be made at the company’s plants in Indiana and Ontario.
