BMW announced that their factory in Munich produced the 10.000.000th 3 Series model in a sedan version. Totally more than 14 million cars of the model have been produced in different versions, in 40 years, with the 10,000,000th sedan car being a 320d painted in an Imperial Blue color.
The BMW plant in Munich manufactures 1,000 cars each day, with half being 3 Series, the car is also manufactured in the factories of the BMW in Regensburg in Germany, Rosslyn in South Africa and Tiexi in China.
