Chevrolet announced the new ZZ6 small block V8 engine. The engine features new “Fast Burn” cylinder heads similar in concept to those of the LS engine of the company and it is able produce 405 hp with 548 Nm of torque.
The engine crankshaft is manufactured from high strength steel and the pistons are made of aluminum. It will be presented in this year’s SEMA, next month.
