The Escala gets its name from the Spanish word “scala” (scale) and it is a quite impressive prototype that could show us a model that will be positioned above the CT6 in the range of Cadillac.
It features a new, unconventional mask and body, it has a length of 5.34 meters and many curves and corners. Its interior features a completely new design approach, having several curved OLED displays, which are developed jointly with LG Electronics, while offering high quality and luxury. It’s all dressed in leather and wood, having several metal surfaces.
The Cadillac Escala Concept is based on the Omega platform of the CT6, having a wheelbase of nearly 3 meters. Mechanically it features a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 500 hp.
