Audi gave some details for the 3D sound system of the new Q7. The system uses a complex algorithm that can recreate the sound from the environment when a song is playing from the speakers. The sound reflects in different parts of the car, from floor to ceiling, in milliseconds, the algorithm uses these reflections to calculate a mathematical model of each song, providing better acoustics, reproducing the sound with a small delay, from each speaker.
The 3D system is available only in the advanced audio systems of Bose and Bang & Olufsen, with four speakers in front, that are placed high enough so as to more accurately recreate the sound of the original recording.
