Audi presented the S8 Plus, that features a significant increase in power, since its 4 liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 605 hp and 700 Nm of torque, thanks to a modified exhaust, a different geometry of the turbos and the new program for the ECU.
It is able to do the 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h, while it can reach 305 km/h with the optional Dynamic Package. The power passes to the road via a four-wheel drive system, while Audi has also changed the air suspension settings and the steering is now dynamic and specially tuned for the S8 Plus. The car rests on 21 inch alloy wheels and it has carbon-ceramic brakes.
Externally, the changes are limited and they are located on the front lip spoiler, the fins on the intakes, the carbon fiber mirrors, the tinted rear lights, the slightly different diffuser and the exhaust. Optionally, buyers can choose the appearance of the “simple” S8 for an even more stealth look. The interior is decorated with sport details and black Alcantara leather. The Audi S8 Plus is available exclusively with the “short” wheelbase and its price starts from €145,000.
