It is equipped with a V6 twin-turbo engine positioned longitudinally, with an included angle of 75 degrees and three electric motors (two at the front wheels with torque vectoring and one in back). Together the hybrid powertrain, which is called “Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive” by the Japanese company delivers more than 550 hp, combined with a 9-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox.

The power passes on all wheels with Honda to place overall on the car 10 cooling units. The hybrid system is similar to that of the McLaren P1, with the batteries being constantly charging.

The new NSX features an aluminum body and an extremely rigid chassis of a mixture of aluminum, steel and carbon. It also features an aluminum suspension and of course it is equipped with active aerodynamics. It has four driving modes (Quiet, Sport, Sport + and Track), the programs change the engine and electric motors settings, the settings of the box and the sound level of the engine. The car has a weight distribution of 43% front and 57% rear, the brakes are carbon-ceramic with 6-piston calipers front and 4-piston at the back.
