Icon has used a Suzuki Katana, to build a new special motorcycle, called New Jack. Icon specializes in motorcycle rider clothing and helmets, but it is not only limited to these. Its headquarters in Portland North West USA in recent years have become a workshop, for building incredible custom-built motorcycles to accompany the presentation of their new products.
The bike was created to help advertise Icon’s new jackets, called Icon 1000 Basehawk. The basis of the bike is a Suzuki Katana 1100 of 1982, which had its engine replaced with a more modern one from a Bandit 1200 and had its frame reinforced, so that it can handle the engines weight and power. The bike also features a new fork and a pair of Nitron dampers on the back.
The square headlight was replaced with an oil filter, while the bike features a LED strip just below the rim of the mask, which is used as lights, a short exhaust under the engine and a retro saddle. The bike seems impressive, it is a shame it will not be available though… even in a limited production.
