Lexus presented the racing LC 500 for the Super GT championship

Lexus had participated in the previous two seasons of the Japanese Super GT championship in the GT500 class, with the RC F GT500. However, this year the Japanese company prepared the racing version of the beautiful Lexus LC 500, which is called LC 500 GT500.

The car is full of angles and sharp lines, which are determined by the necessary aerodynamic devices. It has a highly aggressive body kit, that makes extensive use of carbon parts, a highly impressive rear diffuser and a huge spoiler.

It is equipped with a four-cylinder 2-liter twin-turbo direct injection engine, producing 600 hp, which sends the power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox.

The Super GT championship is underway, with the LC 500 GT500 getting ready for next year. Currently the team Nismo is at the top list of the GT500 category, with the Lexus teams to follow in the next positions.
