Range Rover unveiled the Velar, that will make its debut in Geneva, next week. The design of the new coupe SUV of the British company is beautiful and borrows elements from the Evoque and the Sport.

The car has will be placed between the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. It is based on the lightweight aluminium platform of the Jaguar XE and F-Pace, having a 2,874 mm wheelbase.

The entry-level model will be equipped with an Ingenium 2.0-liter diesel engine producing 180 hp, followed by a 240 hp diesel Ingenium engine. Higher on the range we find a 2.0-liter petrol turbo engine, producing 250 hp and a 3.0-liter V6 delivering 380 hp. The engines are combined exclusively with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The interior of the car is luxurious and it has a large 10-inch touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, while just below it the driver can control the all-wheel drive system, via another 10-inch touch screen. The car features a multifunctional steering wheel covered with leather and a fully digital instrument panel. Its starting price in England will be £44,830.
