Rinspeed presented the Budii concept, a new autonomous car prototype which will present at the Geneva Motor show. According to the Swiss company, the Budii concept, based on the BMW i3, when moving autonomously it eliminates the possibility of accidents due to human error.
On the roof there is a telescopic laser, which is named TrackView, and via sensors it can scan the road, with a 70 cm precision. The suspension of the car is set automatically, with a high-resolution camera to map the ground.
The Swiss electric autonomous four-seater car, allows the driver to either to sit comfortably in place, with the car to move autonomously, or to take action driving his car. The interior is full of gadgets, with a Harman advanced system of information and entertainment, with the wheel being mounted on a robotic arm, which even allows the rear passengers to assume the handling of the car.
The car has a wireless charging system of batteries, 19 inch rims and air suspension that adjusts the height by 100 mm.
