KTM has confirmed the production of the KTM 990 Super Duke R. The motorcycle is equipped with a 2-cylinder 999 cc 4-stroke, spark-ignition, liquid cooled engine which pproduces 123 hp. It features adjustable suspensions with an upside-down telescopic fork at the front and a shock absorber at the rear.
The design does not have many significant changes comapred to the older KTM Super Duke generation. The motorcycle features an orange tubular frame made from steel. The brakes consists of a twin-disc brake with four-piston brake calipers at the front and a
single-disc brake with one-piston brake caliper at the rear.
