Buick introduced, officially, at Chengdu,China, the Envision. The new median crossover is positioned between the smaller Encore and the large Enclave. The model will be sold in China by the end of 2014 and it will be added to the range of the company for the purchase of North America probably in late 2015 as a 2016 model.
It is a small crossover with a length of 4667 mm, width of 1829 mm, height of 1696 mm and a wheelbase of 2750 mm, the design is close to that of the other two models, it has a similar grille, xenon lights with LED daytime running lights, chrome windscreen frame, roof rails and 19 inch alloy wheels. It is equipped with a two liter turbo engine that delivers 256 hp and 353 Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel drive, with four different driving modes: Normal, Tour, Sport and Off-Road.
The interior features wood, chrome details and leather. The steering wheel is heated while the dashboard features one 8-inch screen with the MyLink infotainment system.
Otherwise, it has a panoramic sunroof, a blue light for the cabin and the central armrest with “plenty” of storage space, and a USB port. Finally, the model is equipped with the Bose audio system featuring the Active Noise Cancellation technology.
