DS presented the DS5 facelift as part of the ongoing effort to be established in the minds of the public as a stand-alone brand. The renewed DS5 combines performance, refinement and attention to detail.

The car features a vertical grille, new lights with integrated LED daytime running lights and dual exhaust tailpipes incorporated in the bumper.
The interior features a touch screen that serves for connectivity services and simplifies the dashboard, that has fewer buttons. The car also has the Blind Spot Monitoring System, Lane Departure Warning, automatic high beam control, Intelligent Traction Control, rearview camera and a head up display.
The DS5 is available with various gasoline and diesel engines combined with either a manual gearbox or an automatic, while the top of the range DS5 is the Hybrid 4 × 4 Diesel driven by a diesel-hybrid set producing 200 hp and emitting below 100 gr/km of CO2.
