Porsche does not have plans to transfer the production of its models outside of Germany, according to Bernhard Maier, head of the marketing department and the sales of the company, who stressed that Porsche adheres to its roots and that there is no chance, with the current data, to manufacture a model outside Germany.

Porsche wants to remain the most successful manufacturer of luxury sports cars, with Maier to say that the downsizing of the engines is something that has to be done to keep up with the increasingly stringent emission regulations. He added that the efficiency of Porsche engines is the goal, with the plug-in hybrid technology of its models to be consistent with the company’s image.
