Monster Tajima will compete at this year’s Pikes Peak with the Tajima Rimac E-Runner Concept_One. The 64-year-old Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima, is by far the most successful and experienced driver on the route of the mountain of Colorado with eight victories on his resume.
The Tajima Rimac E-Runner Concept_One delivers 1,1 MW of power, or 1,475 hp and it is approximately two times stronger than the electric car with which Tajima participated in the 2014 Pikes Peak. The new race car has been developed in cooperation with Rimac, having several parts in common with the Concept One. The car can do the 0-100 km/h in 2.2 seconds and the 0-200 km/h in 5.4 seconds, while its top speed was not announced by Rimac.
