Chevrolet Colorado ZH2

General Motors revealed the Colorado ZH2, a new vehicle for the US Army that is powered by Hydrogen. Two of the main features that make the car ideal for use by the military is that it is completely silent, while it produces large torque, that allows it to tow heavy loads, with the fuel cells being able to produce water.

The model is the result of a cooperation between GM and the US Army Center for cars (Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center, TARDEC). The vehicle will start being tested in 2017, for the army to assess the potential of a hydrogen-powered vehicle.

The Colorado ZH2 has removable fuel cells that can be used to provide electricity for the soldiers.
