Mecum Auctions will auction the famous white Ferrari Testarossa from the television series Miami Vice on 15 August.
The car is a model of 1986 and it has covered 16,031 miles and it may be the same car that had come up for sale on eBay last December. This is one of the two real Ferrari Testarossa used for the needs of shooting, especially of the 3d, 4th and 5th season. The car was originally painted in a black color, but the director of the series, decided to paint both Ferraris in white, to film better night shots.
The car is equipped with a 4.9 liter 12-cylinder engine producing 390 hp, combined with a five-speed manual gearbox and since 1989 that the series ended it has been stored in a garage.
