Hyundai has announced that they are recalling 129,000 Sonata in the US. The problem is that if the tip of seat belt of the front passenger is installed in the buckle at a given angle, it may not engage.
The driver is informed by a warning light on the dashboard, but it is a matter of security and as such, it should be corrected. It is worth mentioning that there have been no reported injuries due to this problem.Vehicle owners will be notified to fix the problem.
