Lada presented officially the production version of the XRay. The crossover model of the Russian company will start its manufacturing process on December 15 and it will be launched in the market next February.
The XRay has lost the futuristic elements of the concept, with its lights front and rear having a new design and graphics. The car is based on the same platform used by the Dacia Sandero Stepway.
Its interior features a multifunctional steering wheel, air conditioning, a 7 inch screen in the center of the dashboard and optionally a leather upholstery. Mechanically, it is available with three petrol engines, a 1.6 liter producing 106 hp and 114 in two different versions and a 1.8 liter producing 123 hp. The 1.6 liter engines are combined with a manual 5 speed gearbox that sends the power to the front wheels, while the 1.8 liter is combined with an automatic gearbox.
