Last weekend Nissan, revived Datsun after 27 years and unveiled its first car, called the Go.
The Go, based on the platform of Nissan Micra, is a small five-door hatchback car which will initially be sold in India and will compete with cars like the Hyundai i10. It will be wearing a 1.2-liter engine which is combined to a five-speed manual box and apart from the Indian market, it will be sold in the emerging markets of Indonesia, Russia and South Africa.
Later Datsun, has stated that it will unveil more models, since they are now under development and. The rendering for the Cross version has edited the famous X-Tomi Design and we can see that the car has the bumper and wings with inflated plastic protectors and slightly higher ground clearance to be able to cope with light off-road excursions.
