These are the first official pictures of the Kia Pro_cee’d GT which will be presented along with the cee’d GT at the Geneva Show this March with sales to begin in mid-2013.
The Kia Pro_cee’d GT wears a beautiful and highly aggressive bodykit consisting of new front bumper with large air intakes, which features red accents and LED headlamps. At the rear we can distinguish the spoiler and the new bumper and roof that are painted in black.
The changes are completed with lower and stiffer suspension and 18 inch wheels. The brakes consist of red calipers with ventilated the front discs measuring 300 × 28 mm. On the interior there are Recaro sports seats, aluminum pedals and new decorations.
Under the hood is the new 1.600 cc GDI twin-scroll turbo petrol engine which delivers 204 hp with 265 Nm torque from 1,750 to 4.500 rpm. Combined with a 6-speed manual transmission which helps the car achieve 0-100 km / hour in 7.9 seconds.Production will begin in mid-May at Kia’s factory at Zilina city of Slovakia, and in the UK it is expected to cost close to £ 23.000.
