The Renault Twin’Z Concept, the electric rear-wheel drive five-door supermini has a length of 3.627 mm, width of 1.705 mm, height of1.506 mm, wheelbase of 2.495 mm and weighs 980 kg.
The motor is mounted in the rear and it produces 50 kW (68 hp) with 226 Nm of torque. Powered by lithium ion batteries that give an autonomy of 161 km and a top speed of 130 km/h.
It wears special Michelin tires measuring 205/40 R18 with the shock absorbers from Ohlins. The front suspension consists of MacPherson struts front and double wishbones at the rear, the chassis is tubular, while the body is made of carbon.
Renault has designed it together with British designer Ross Lovegrove, who designed the wheels. The rear doors open to the rear, where in combination with the absence of the middle column, the access to the interior is very easy. The seats are thin and lightweight, coated with fireproof and waterproof material.
