Shelby will present in New York the Shelby 1000 S/C 2013, a Mustang with more than 1,000 hp and a price of $ 210.000. Last year’s S/C version produced 1,200 hp, but unfortunately it was not street-legal,and only 50 cars were sold.
This year’s model delivers more than 1,000 horses and it is street legal. It is equipped with a supercharged V8 5,8 liter engine from the Shelby GT500 2013. The 4.0 liter supercharger provides a big part of the extra hp of the engine. It is combined with a 6 speed manual transmission and Shelby said on their press release that only 100 models will be built.
