The third generation of the popular family car of Skoda is set to be released in Europe and the focus is naturally on the RS version. The first official photo of the Octavia RS was posted on the internet and in particular by a Czech website dedicated to the model of Skoda.
Compared with the simple versions, the RS differs from the air intakes, the front bumper, the rear spoiler, the dual exhaust tailpipe, the larger wheels and brakes with red calipers. The first presentation of the model is expected to take place this summer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the sales will probably start before the end of the year.
As for the engines, there will be two versions, petrol and diesel. Rumors say that there will be a 2 liter TSI with 220 PS and the corresponding capacity TDI with 186 PS. As a result, the new Octavia RS will be faster(in comparison to the previous generation Octavia) with the 2.0 TSI to complete the 0-100 km/h in less than 7 seconds. At the same time it offers significantly reduced fuel consumption.
