Volvo has presented the production version of the S60 Polestar.It weighs 1,684 kg and it features new bumpers, spoiler, diffuser and black mirrors. At the interior it has a new gearshift, door sills, and many new decorations.
It is equipped with a six-cylinder T6 3,0 liter engine producing 350 hp at 5,700 rpm with 500 Nm of torque between 2,800 and 4,750 rpm combined with a 6 speed automatic transmission with launch control, which sends power to all four wheels via the Haldex system.
The engine also features a new inter-cooler, a Borg Warner turbo and stainless exhaust. The S60 Polestar has new anti-roll bars at the front and rear, a strut brace and lower springs. The 0-100 km/h is completed in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. It stands on 19 inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 235/40. The front brakes are 336 × 29 mm and the rear ones 302 × 22 mm. Initially it will be sold as a limited production car, exclusively to the Australian market with sales beginning in June.
