Two days ago the news that Afzal Kahn was selling his F1 plate was out… well it seems that in the end he is in fact not selling his favorite licence plate. Below you can read the press release he has issued according to the matter.
This week it’s in relation to the incessant media speculation surrounding the F1 number plate.
I can confirm the F1 registration has NOT been placed for sale online for £10 million via Reg Transfers.
We have ordered the company in question to remove all references to F1 and wish to remind them of their responsibility to uphold the highest standards of integrity.
I have clarified this matter to a number of media colleagues whom I spoke to yesterday. However, I am out of the office today, so have not been able to respond to media requests dates 13th of June.
