Alpine has released a new teaser picture, which announces that the A120 will be officially presented on 7 March, during the first press day of the Geneva auto show.
The A120 Coupe will have its engine in the center and it will feature an aluminium chassis and an aluminium body. Rumors say that it will be powered by a 1.8-liter turbo engine, producing close to 300 hp, which will be combined with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, that will help it to complete the 0-100 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds.
The A120 will compete with the Porsche 718 Cayman, the Alfa Romeo 4C and the Lotus Elise. Its price is expected to be around €55,000.
