The Clio V6 was not a track-day-special nor a one-off project, with the Clio V6 Phase 1 selling 1513 copies worldwide, while Phase 2 reached 1309 cars sold!
The car originally had a cost of £25,000, with its rear seats being replaced by the 3-liter V6 L7X that delivered 230 hp, which were increased in Phase 2, to 255 hp. The power was transferred to the rear wheels through a six-speed transmission and free differential.
