BMW gave the green light for the X2 to pass in production and to be launched in 2017. The car will be a five-door liftback and it will be based on the front wheel drive UKL platform, with the four-wheel drive system xDrive to be available on its additional equipment.
It will be presented at the Geneva auto show in March 2016, with the production model to be available with a series of three-cylinder and four-cylinder turbo petrol and diesel engines, with the M Performance version of the car to produce over 300 hp.
