Buick presented at the Guangzhou auto show in China the Verano hatchback and Verano GS. These are based on the new Opel Astra and they feature the characteristic grille of the American company.
The Verano is equipped with an atmospheric, 1.5 liter gasoline engine producing 120 hp and 146 Nm of torque, combined exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Verano GS on the other hand, is equipped with a turbo 1.5 liter petrol engine producing 166 hp, combined exclusively with a 7-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission. Its interior features seats with Alcantara, red stitching and a red backlight. The car is already available for pre-order with its price starting from 145,900 Chinese Yuan.
