Cadillac presented the CT6, its new flagship, which will be constructed on the Omega platform, with 64% of the structure being made of aluminum. The chassis of the CT6 uses 13 different materials, with all panels made of aluminum, to improve fuel economy, dynamics and noise cancellation.

The car is 5.184 mm long, 1.879 mm wide, 1.472 mm high and it has a wheelbase of 3.106 mm. Its interior features high quality leather, wood and carbon decorations, 34 Bose speakers and the CUE infotainment systems with a 10.4 inch screen.
The car will be available with a 2.0 liter turbo engine producing 265 hp, a naturally aspirated 3.6 liter V6 engine producing 335 hp and a new twin-turbo 3.0 liter V6 engine producing 405 hp with 543 Nm torque. Later a 4.5 liter twin-turbo V8 producing more than 500 hp will be added to the range. All engines are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends the power either to the rear or all-wheels.
The car features a 360-degree camera, night vision system, the Advanced Park Assist system with automatic braking, and the Pedestrian Collision Mitigation system, which stops the car automatically, to avoid a collision with pedestrians. The car will be manufactured at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant of GM, with production to begin later this year. The car will be available in the US, Europe, China, Japan, Korea and Middle East.
