Callaway presented the Corvette C7 GT3-R, which replaces the Z06.R GT3 (C6). Callaway developed the racing car in about two years and it meets the FIA regulations to participate in the GT3 category.

It is equipped with a 6.2 liter atmospheric V8 engine producing 600 hp, with the power to be transferred to the rear wheels via a six-speed serial transmission of X-Trac, with changes to be made through paddles on the steering wheel.
