Ferrari presented the 458 Speciale A (Aperta). The convertible 458 Speciale will go on sale in just 499 units and it will debut next Thursday at the Paris motor show. The aluminium roof of the car opens and closes in 14 seconds. The 458 Speciale A weighs 1,340 kilos, only 50 kilos more than the 458 Speciale.

It is equipped with a 4.5 liter V8 atmospheric engine producing 605 hp @ 9,000 rpm with 540 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm, with the 0-100 km/h coming in three seconds (as the coupe), the 0-200 km/h in 9.5 seconds (0.4 seconds more in comparison to the coupe), with the top speed reaching 325 km/h.

Ferrari describes the car as the most aerodynamic roadster that has ever been built, with the car that will be unveiled in Paris being painted in a special color yellow with triple coating with a blue and white strip running through the body.

The car features the Grigio Corsa five spoke wheels, with the interior featuring carbon decorations and seats covered with Alcantara.
