Geely, the parent company of Volvo released the first teaser image of a new SUV that they will present at the Frankfurt auto show. The car, as the company says, has a sleek, European design, with Peter Horbury, former designer of Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin, to lead the design team.

The SUV will initially be available exclusively in China and it will borrow design elements from the GC9. It will be available with a 2.4 liter naturally aspirated V6 engine producing 160 hp with 210 Nm of torque, a 1.8 liter turbo engine producing 180 hp with 285 Nm of torque, and a 3.5 liter V6 engine producing 270 hp with 345 Nm of torque. All three engines will be combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
