Ferrari presented in Geneva the 488 GTB. The Italian supercar is 4.568 mm long, 1.952 mm wide, 1.213 mm high, it weighs 1,370 kilos and it has a weight ratio of 46.5% at the front and 53.5%at the rear. Particular emphasis has been given to the aerodynamics, with the 488 GTB producing 50% more downforce than the 458 Italia. The 488 GTB features a double front spoiler, new side skirts and active aerodynamic devices.
The 488 GTB is equipped with a 3.9 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 670 hp at 8,000 rpm with 760 Nm torque. The engine is combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission with variable torque management, enabling the car to do the 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds, the 0-200 km/h in 8.3 seconds, having a top speed of 330 km/h. The 488 GTB consumes on average 11.4 liters of gasoline per 100 km and emits 260 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
The car features upgraded electronics and the Side Slip Control 2, which is now more accurate and less invasive. The system, besides the F1-Trac and E-Diff, controls the suspensions of the car during maneuvering to make it more stable.
The interior features completely redesigned graphics of the information and entertainment system, which is integrated into the new instrument cluster, new seats and a keyless start system.
