Morgan presented the new Aero 8 at Geneva. The car, features a revamped chassis, new suspension and a totally different interior, becoming the most high-tech model that has been presented by Morgan in its history.

The two-seater Aero 8 will replace the Aero Coupe and the Aero Supersports, but the Plus 8 will continue to be offered while Morgan says that most potential buyers will “go” for the new Aero 8.
The chassis of the new model is significantly stiffer than the previous versions and with regard to the suspension, Morgan has used a conventional arrangement of double wishbone on all four wheels, with anti-roll bars on both axles. This, according to the company, makes the handling more predictable, improves ride quality at low speeds and increases traction.
The design of the Aero 8 is practically identical to other models of the company. The car features a fabric roof, a new dashboard with new switches, while the optional equipment features an entertainment and information system that includes satellite navigation, applications and a rear view camera.

The car is equipped with a 4.8 liter V8 of BMW, which delivers 380 hp and it is available with either a six-speed, manual transmission or an automatic. The car also features a BMW mechanical limited slip differential. Given that the weight of the Aero 8 will hardly exceed 1,000 kilos, the performance is expected to be exciting. The price of the Aero 8, starts at £80,000 in England.
